Kaine Statement On Supreme Court Decision Barring Gay And Transgender Employment Discrimination

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tim Kaine released the following statement today on the Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia and R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes Inc. v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission:

“No one should be fired because of who they are or whom they love. I am so relieved the Supreme Court recognized that basic truth today and grateful for the brave men and women who brought forth these cases.”
