"While Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) said any exit from what he calls a 'foolish and illegal war' is good news, he remains concerned about what will become of Iran’s highly enriched uranium, which he notes did not exist under the United States’ 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran.
'When he tore [the agreement] up, he basically gave Iran a green light to restart their nuclear program. Iran had no enriched uranium when he became president. They have hundreds of kilograms of enriched uranium now because Donald Trump tore up the deal. So, if he wanted to accomplish the goal of a non-nuclear Iran, why did he tear up the diplomatic deal that had guaranteed that Iran would not be nuclear?' said Kaine."
