Kaine Addresses U.S. Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tim Kaine addressed members of the Hispanic business community today at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd Annual Legislative Summit. Kaine emphasized that support for Latino businesses is vital to our economic growth.

"Today’s event with Hispanic business owners exemplifies the strong contributions of this community,” said Kaine. “Hispanic-owned businesses are the fastest growing in the United States thanks to the hard work of the Latino business community, but more work needs to be done to reduce red tape for start-ups and eliminate roadblocks that make it difficult for minority-owned businesses to prosper and create jobs."

Following the event, Kaine met with members of the Latino business community from Virginia in attendance to discuss steps to ensure continued success for Hispanic business owners.
